The HCR ManorCare Foundation extends grants from the General Grant program exclusively to organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. While not a requirement for approval, strong preference is given to organizations whose service areas are in proximity to HCR ManorCare facilities.
