The mission of the HCR ManorCare Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the communities HCR ManorCare serves. The Foundation will achieve this mission by supporting community-based services, research and education addressing the needs of:

• the elderly
• individuals requiring post-acute services
• individuals requiring hospice and palliative care
• charitable organizations supported by HCR ManorCare employees

The Foundation's efforts will be focused on sustaining dignity, independence and a sense of well-being, all of which are essential elements of a vibrant quality of life.
